The property benefits from an elevated position giving panoramic sea views across Newquay Bay and out to the North Atlantic Ocean.

Pre Arrival
Once your security deposit is paid we will send you yoru access pack with directions to the apartment, and your access instructions.
The closest railway station is Newquay which is about 0.7 miles from the apartment

The streets around the property are well paved and generally well maintained. The grounds of the property itself are regularly maintained and level paving is in place between all access points. There is external lighting to all paved areas.
You can find Newquay ShopMobility (01637 854020) in Tolcarne Road, in the town centre. And if you are out and about RADAR toilets can be found at:

On Arrival
Keys are kept in a key safe (details of location and access will be provided to you prior to your stay), unfortunately we are not able to offer a meet and greet service, but our web site and apartment welcome pack should contain everything you need to know.
There is dedicated off street parking for one car 10 meters from the entrance lobby and lift access from here to the 2nd floor where the apartment can be found and is arranged over one floor.
Entrance to the Property
Entrance to the property can be gained from the private car park via a code secured door, the minimum door width is 780mm.
the entrance is paved and there are no steps leading to the apartment block.
The exterior entrance is well lit by overhead LED spot lamps.
Halls, Stairs, Landings, Passagways
The communal areas of the block are well maintained and lit by overhead LED spot lamps. The entrance and hallways are carpeted with thin pile carpet.
All passageways are spacious giving easy access for wheelchairs, zimmer frames push chairs etc., all internal doorways are 870mm.
On entering the block straight ahead and at the end of the hallway to the righ is the elevator, immediately to the right is a fire door to the stairwell, on the ground floor lobby you can also find the key safe for the apartment and the emergency exit, the emergency exit is 1100mm wide and is opened via a push bar. There are 2 flights of stairs per floor (1100mm wide) with two steps inbetween each flight, a total of 18 steps per floor (36 steps in total to the second floor) All floor surfaces are even and carpeted with short pile carpet, and there are handrails on both sides.
The elevator runs from the ground floor to the second floor, it is 1400mm x 1100mm and the door opening is 900mm
Access to the Apartment
Access to the apartment is through the main door with a clear door opening of 830mm. The hallway is 1110mm wide at its narrowest point with a wooden floor.
The open plan lounge/ diner is set out on one level, and accessed from the hallway.
The clear door opening width is 770mm to the lounge diner.
The layout of the lounge area has two three seater sofas arranged perpendicular to each other, there is a 43" flat screen HDTV with HD Freeview, a Sony PS3 for iternet access, playing DVD or Blueray and of course games, and the usual subtitle facilities.
All furniture is moveable to allow easy access.
The area is lit by overhead LED spot lamps, as well as ambient lighting from floor and table lamps.
The room has wood flooring has does the kitchen area.
The Dining area has ample room for a wheel chair and clearance under the table is xxxmm at the ends or
xmxm xalong the side. Dining room chairs are all upright without arms.
The Kitchen is part of the open plan lounge/ diner area so shares the same lighting, flooring and access. The gap between the dining area and kitchen is xmxxm.x
All the Bosch built-in appliances are low level except the built in microwave which is approx 1650mm high.
The cooker has a drop down door, and the grill is located in the main oven space.
Work surfaces are 900mm high
The lowest draw in the fridge is 1000mm
The lowest draw in the freezer is 300mm
Most of the high level cabinets are 1500mm high, with two at 1900mm
There is a cordless kettle that can revolve 360ยบ
The sink tap is a single easy movement mixer tap.
The Master Bedroom is also accessed from the hallway, the clear door opening width is 770mm, there is king size bed with 500mm side access or 1400mm access from the end, the bed is 550mm high.
The bedroom is carpeted and lit by overhead LED lighting as well as bedside lamps, all walls are white with an oatmeal carpet.
There is a built in wardrobe with shelving and a low level rail for clothing.
There is a remote control 32" wall mounted flatscreen HDTV with HD Freeview, Google Chromecast, and the usual subtitle facilities.
The clear door opening width to the en-suite bathroom is 770mm, the sink is 830mm from the floor with a single lever tap, the shower can be accessed via a 600mm opening, there is a small lip up (30mm high) into the shower, the toilet is 430mm from the floor.
The en-suite is well lit with overhead LED spot lamps, floors are tiled with non-slip stone coloured tiles and matching tiled walls, there are no grab rails fitted.
Is entered from the hallway the clear door opening width is 770mm, there are two single beds 3' by 6'6" (these can also be configured as a Super King Size Bed on request) the bed(s) are 650mm high with 700mm access from the sides or 700mm from the end.
The bedroom is carpeted and lit by overhead LED lighting as well as bedside lamps, the walls are white, with an oatmeal carpet.
There is a built in wardrobe with shelving and a low level rail for clothing.
